Location

Seven Ponds Nature Center
3854 Crawford Road
Dryden, MI 48428

Cost Member no charge and $3.00 non-Member

By the end of May, the summer residents of the nature center will be establishing nesting territories – including Indigo Bunting, Baltimore Oriole, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Scarlet Tanager, Yellow Warbler, and Mourning Warbler.  Additionally, there will still be some late migrants moving through.  We’ll visit many of the center’s habitats to find a variety of birds.  Time permitting we may also take a short drive over to the nature center’s Richie Pond Perserve to look for grassland birds such as Bobolink, Vesper Sparrow, and Eastern Meadowlark.  Bring your binoculars and field guide, and be sure to wear footwear appropriate for spring conditions. ]]>
