Scaly and Slimy animals are the Best!!!  Join us as we celebrate the amphibians and retiles of Michigan!

Nature Discovery – Live Reptile and Amphibian Presentation at 1:00 p.m.

Michigan has 52 different species of hepetofauna, or herps, which  are reptiles and amphibians.  Nature Discovery will be bringing some of Michigan's native herps for a live animal presentation and you won't want to miss it!

Salamander Count at Jonathan Woods at 3:00 p.m.

Join us as we survey the salamander population of Seven Ponds.  We will be looking for many examples of the six species that redise in the rich woods while learning about their natural history and conservation.  We will meet at the front dest and car pool to Jonathan Woods.

Singing Frog and Toad Survey at 5:00 p.m.

13 species of frogs and toads call Michigan home and spring is a great time to hear some of these species sing.  Listening to them is also how their populations are surveyed, so join us for an evening of frog song.
