Location

Seven Ponds Nature Center

May is the month when the spring migration of songbirds really gets underway and birders get so excited.  Let’s go see what we can find at this wonderful township park located in Genesse County.  This park is one of the top birding locations in the county, offering grassy fields, brushy habitat, and riparian woodland along the Flint River.  Time permitting we may also stop by Mott Lake on the way back to scope for ducks, loons, and grebes.  All birds watching levels are welcome.  Bring your binoculars and field guide, and be sure to wear footwear appropriate for spring conditions.  We will carpool from Seven Ponds; please plan to depart at 7:00 a.m.
